Do you have a Plan B

Room Layout and Seating

Every person in your audience needs to see you as also your visual aids. Different kinds of layout help you to maximize contact. Based on the  kind  of  presentation( is  it  just  providing  information  or is there a discussion)you  could  change the  layout.

Theatre style: This style is suitable for large audiences. It is useful if there are key note speakers, or there is not much interaction between the speaker and audience.

Board Meeting setup: Hierarchical in nature, ideal for relaying information, works well for small groups.

There are other styles like cluster groups or U shaped board arrangement which is used based on the kind of presentation you make. Small groups could use the bistro or café style, while large discussion groups could use the U or  rectangular board style. The curved style is ideal for relaying of one way information.
